1 Person Hurt in Marshall Pedestrian Accident on West Burleson and North Bishop Street
MARSHALL, TX (November 7, 2024) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Jonathan Olvera after a crippling hit-and-run crash on West Burleson Street.
The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on West Burleson Street and North Bishop Street.
According to the Marshall Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders transported the male pedestrian to a hospital with a broken leg.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run suspect, identified as 20-year-old Olvera, for an accident involving serious bodily injury.
The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
Due to limited information, the Marshall Police Department continued investigating the crash.
