Fatal Head-On Motorhome Crash Leaves Oregon Man Jonathan Floyd Dead

 
Hopland, CA (June 16, 2021) – On Wednesday, Jonathan Floyd, 49, died in a motorhome collision on Highway 101.
 
The fatal accident happened south of Frog Woman Rock near mile marker 4.35, wherein an RV was involved.
 
The authorities said they found a vehicle down the embankment in the dry riverbed next to the Russian River. They requested for Environmental Health to inspect the riverbed where the car came to rest.
 
Moreover, officers said the head-on crash between the two vehicles left debris blocking the southbound lane.
 
As a result, the King City traffic remained backed up for at least a mile.
 
First responders worked to clear the roadway. They closed Highway 101 near Cloverdale at mile marker 53.5.
 
The authorities are still investigating the deadly head-on collision.
 
Apparently, the decedent was a Beaverton, Oregon man who drove a Toyota Highlander at the time of the accident.
 
Police identified the driver of the motorhome that drifted into the opposite lanes as Kinzen Wong, 71, of Sunnyvale.
 
Wong sustained a broken leg and internal bleeding, and was hospitalized.
