2 People Hurt in Cameron Park Motorcycle Accident on Oxford Road and Cameron Park Drive
CAMERON PARK, CA (May 27, 2024) – On Sunday, authorities arrested Jon Martin Janke after an alarming hit-and-run crash on Oxford Road.
The incident happened on Oxford Road at Cameron Park Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol Placerville division, a vehicle struck a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle and fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the 56-year-old man and 57-year-old woman who were riding the motorcycle, to a hospital with major injuries.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run suspect, identified as 57-year-old Janke. Also, authorities said that Janke’s bail was set at $87,000.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
