Jok Joseph Jok Dies, Scott Douglas Satterfield Arrested in Bancroft Drive Hit-and-Run Crash [La Mesa, CA]

18-Year-Old Jok Joseph Jok of San Diego Struck and Killed on Bancroft Drive

 
La Mesa, CA (April 10, 2021) – On Wednesday, police arrested Scott Douglas Satterfield in a hit-and-run crash on Bancroft Drive that killed Jok Joseph Jok of San Diego.
 
The fatal crash took place on February 27 at about 9:10 p.m. south of Golondrina Drive.
 
Responding officers found the 18-year-old Jok lying gravely injured on the road.
 
Immediately, rescuers rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.
 
Authorities identified Satterfield as the alleged hit-and-run driver via surveillance video. Similarly, the video captured images of his white Ford F150 in the area at the time of the fatal accident.
 
Moreover, officers arrested the 61-year-old Satterfield at a Mission Valley motel.
 
They booked him into San Diego Central Jail on $100,000 bail. The court set his arraignment for April 15.
