Police Arrested Johna Yokoi in Stealing Vehicle in Vallejo
Napa County, CA (January 22, 2021) – On Wednesday, Napa police arrested 26-year-old Johna Yokoi of American Canyon in a crash on Imola Avenue.
Authorities pursued a stolen BMW in Vallejo and used to run over a male in that city.
At about 8:30 p.m., authorities were able to intercept the vehicle going east on Imola Avenue.
Yokoi lost control of the vehicle at Fourth Avenue and crashed into a vineyard and overturned.
Furthermore, authorities took him to Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Then, they booked him into the Napa County jail for possible charges of vehicle theft, receiving stolen property, and violation of probation.
May this incident be a reminder for all motorists to drive responsibly. Drivers should also keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and failing to yield will lead to dangerous road accidents.
How To Proceed From a Crash
Moreover, while driving is essential for many to move about in their lives, it is one of the most dangerous daily maneuvers. Thus, it is therefore important to know how to proceed in case you find yourself involved in a traffic collision.
Indeed, on the AAA Foundation Web site, chief executive officer Peter Kissinger repeatedly labeled the epidemic of motor vehicle-related accidents a “public health crisis.”
