Phoenix, AZ (December 9, 2023) – On Saturday evening, 55-year-old John Ybarra died in a crash on 40th Street and Thomas Road.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near 40th Street and Thomas Road. Phoenix police, upon arrival at the scene, discovered 55-year-old John Ybarra, the sole driver involved, with serious injuries.
Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The number of vehicles involved in the crash and whether there were any additional injuries remains unknown.
The area around 40th Street and Thomas Road was temporarily closed but reopened later in the evening.
