John Vanderlinde Hurt in Merced County Pedestrian Accident on Highway 140 and Cunningham Road

 
MERCED COUNTY, CA (April 1, 2021) – Wednesday night, pedestrian John Vanderlinde suffered injuries in a crash on Highway 140 and Cunningham Road.
 
According to authorities, the hit-and-run crash occurred at about 8:20 p.m. on Highway 140 and Cunningham Road.
 
Reports revealed that a light-colored truck traveled east on the highway. Then, it struck the pedestrian, leaving him with a broken leg.
 
Thus, responders flew him to the Community Regional Medical Center, and is expected to survive his injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol continues to search for the driver of the truck that fled after the crash.
