Larry Pence Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Dogwood Road
FRANKLIN COUNTY, WA (May 11, 2018) – A motorcycle collision at Dogwood Road and Glade Road claimed the life of a motorcyclist and injured another. 58-year-old John Orozco of Basin City, reportedly died at the scene, while 40-year-old Larry Pence from the Tri-Cities, was hospitalized in serious condition.
The collision occurred early Friday morning around 12:25 AM. Pence was on his motorcycle heading northbound on Glade Road at a high rate of speed when he collided with another motorcycle, driven by Orozco, that was headed the same direction.
Orozco sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Pence received major injuries and was rushed to the Kadlec Regional Medical Center in a serious condition. There is no update on his current condition.
No further information about the fatal collision has been released as it is still under investigation, but authorities suspect speed as a contributing factor.
