John Evetts Jr Fatal Crash Closes Freeway Ramp for 5 hours
Tumwater, WA ( August 19, 2020) – On Saturday, 65-year-old John Evetts Jr died in a car crash while exiting northbound Interstate 5 for U.S. Highway 101.
Authorities said the crash happened at about 11:10 p.m. when his vehicle hit the right-center strip. Then, it tumbled over and landed on it’s top-side on the right shoulder.
Moreover, the Washington State Patrol said the incident closed the exit ramp for five hours. Unfortunately, Evetts died at the scene
The Thurston County Coroner’s Office said his autopsy is on Wednesday.
