54-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash near Intersection with Broadway
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 16, 2018) – A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on 65th Street, on or near the intersection with Broadway, late Monday night.
The victim was identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as 54-year-old Joey Raymond Cabral. He was reportedly walking westbound on the west side of 65th, when he was hit by a vehicle that was turning south onto 65th St.
The driver fled from the scene, leaving Cabral injured in the road. Sacramento Fire Department personnel arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
