Joel Vieto Killed in Fremont Motorcycle Crash on Stevenson Boulevard
FREMONT, CA (November 08, 2019) — A motorcyclist, identified as Joel Vieto of Fremont, died in a collision with an SUV Wednesday night.
The police said the incident occurred on Stevenson Boulevard at about 7 p.m. The area is between Fremont Boulevard and Paseo Padre Parkway. The 29-year-old Vieto died at the scene.
The 44-year-old Fremont man driving the SUV did not sustain any injuries. On the other hand, a female passenger in the SUV had injuries to her leg. First responders transported her to a hospital for treatment.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation as per the police.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the collision. However, the investigation is ongoing.
