Fatality Reported in Ector County Pedestrian Crash
Ector County, TX (November 6, 2024) – Joel Tijerina, 51, of Odessa, was fatally injured in a West University Boulevard accident early Monday morning.
It was about 1:16 a.m. when a GMC Yukon driven by 54-year-old Lori Lee Carbery of Odessa was traveling west on the inside lane.
At the same time, Tijerina was walking south across the westbound lanes and was hit by Carbery.
Sadly, Joel Tijerina was killed at the crash scene.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating this fatal crash.
