Sonora, CA (February 4, 2022) On Wednesday, 63-year-old Joel Magee from Adelanto, was injured in a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 108.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the crash happened after a DUI collision 3 hours earlier that evening.
Authorities say that 44-year-old Shanon Hayes, from Twain Harte, was on a 2006 Toyota Camry attempting to pass Magee on a 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup.
Moreover, reports indicate that Hayes lost control and hit the rear of Magee’s pickup.
