Joe Castro of Fresno Dies in DUI Collision on Clinton Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (July 8, 2023) – Just before 6 p.m. on July 4, 80-year-old Joe Castro of Fresno was killed in a DUI collision on Clinton Avenue.

The accident report stated that a driver failed to heed a stop sign at the intersection with Armstrong Avenue and collided with the vehicle driven by Castro. 

Castro was immediately transported to Community Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Moreover, the suspect driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
