Fatal Head-On Collision in Young County Claims One Life, Injures Two Others
Young County, TX (November 20, 2024) On Sunday, officials identified 44-year-old Jody Lynn Rymel of Crosbyton as one of the people who died in the horrific head-on collision on US 380.
According to authorities, the deadly crash happened in Young County over the weekend.
Reports say that the crash involved a 2023 Mercedes CLA 250 and a a 2007 Mazda.
Officials say that the accident happened when the driver of the 2023 Mercedes CLA 250 crossed into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a 2007 Mazda
Authorities say that Rymel was driving the Mazda, succumbed to her injuries. Meanwhile, 2 other individuals, including the minor, sustained injuries and were transported to United Regional Hospital and Cook Children’s Medical Center for treatment.
Officials are continuing their investigation into the crash.
