Pittsburg, CA (November 26, 2024) On Friday evening, 50-year-old Joaquin Revuelta was fatally struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian crash on Willow Pass Road.

According to the Pittsburg Police Department (PPD), the deadly hit-and-run happened at about 9:17 p.m. along the 1500 block of Willow Pass Road.

Reports say that the bicyclist lost his life after a hit-and-run driver struck him and fled the scene.

Officers responded to a call at 9:17 p.m. reporting a person lying on the roadway along the 1500 block of Willow Pass Road. The victim, later identified as Revuelta, was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Family members revealed through a GoFundMe page for Revuelta’s funeral expenses that he was returning home from church at the time of the collision. Revuelta leaves behind a partner and two children.
