2 Dead in Fresno County Auto Accident on Highway 33 and Shaw Avenue

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 24, 2022) – Friday night, Jimmy Saravia suffered injuries in a deadly crash on Highway 33 and Shaw Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 11:04 p.m. on Highway 33 and Shaw Avenue.
 
According to reports, a woman drove a Ford north at an unknown speed with a male passenger. Then, the car veered into the southbound lane. Then, it went into the path of a vehicle towing a two-axle flatbed trailer loaded with fertilizer.
 
Officers confirmed that the CHP was unavoidable and caused major front-end damage to both vehicles.
 
Meanwhile, officers declared both people in the Ford dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the identities of the deceased remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
Furthermore, the other driver, 19-year-old Jimmy Saravia of Mendota, reported minor injuries and complaints of pain.
 
Also, the crash shut down a section of the highway to allow time to clear away debris.
 
At this time, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
