Injuries Reported in Volente Vehicle Crash at 16107 Wharf Cove

VOLENTE, TX (September 1, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a startling jet ski vs boat accident on 16107 Wharf Cove injured 3 people.

Reports said that the crash between a boat and a jet ski happened at about 2:00 p.m. at 16107 Wharf Cove on Lake Travis.

An adult and two children were involved in the collision, prompting Austin Travis County EMS and STAR Flight to respond to the scene.

Both children were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center, with one suffering from potentially serious injuries and the other from potentially life-threatening injuries.

The adult was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with potentially serious injuries. Austin Travis County EMS has since left the scene, and no further information is available at this time. 

The Texas Game Warden Forensics Reconstruction and Mapping Team handles the investigation.
