Jesus Zuniga of Woodland Dies in Interstate 80 Pedestrian Accident [Fairfield, CA]

Fairfield, CA (January 18, 2022) – On Saturday, 38-year-old Jesus Zuniga of Woodland lost his life in an Interstate 80 pedestrian accident.

It was about 9:30 p.m. when the fatal crash took place west of Travis Boulevard, near Beck Avenue on-ramp.

Officers said that a Chevrolet Camaro traveling in the slow lane struck Zuniga.

Moreover, investigators said that Zuniga was in the traffic lane when the accident happened and that he sustained life-threatening injuries.

Emergency rescuers took Zuniga to NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield where he was pronounced dead.
