21-Year-Old Jesus Pacheco Ceniceros Dies in Huron Street Motorcycle Crash [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (July 28, 2024) – 21-year-old Jesus Pacheco Ceniceros was killed in a Huron Street motorcycle crash late Friday afternoon.

It was about 5:30 p.m. when the collision happened near the intersection of West Southcross Boulevard.

Troopers said an officer was responding to a report of a vehicle on fire. The officer was eastbound on Southcross Boulevard while the motorcyclist, Pacheco Ceniceros, was northbound on Huron Street.

Pacheco Ceniceros drove through the intersection as the traffic light was turning yellow and collided with the SAPD patrol vehicle. 

Pacheco Ceniceros was thrown from his motorcycle while the patrol vehicle was pushed into the westbound lanes of Southcross Boulevard.

The officer’s vehicle collided with a vehicle stopped at a red light. 

Immediately, medical rescuers responded to the crash scene and transported Pacheco Ceniceros, the SAPD officer, and driver of the third vehicle, to an area hospital.

Sadly, Pacheco Ceniceros was declared deceased at the hospital overnight. 

Investigators expect the officer and driver of the third vehicle to recover from their injuries.

SAPD is investigating this fatal collision.
