SEDRO-WOOLEY, WA (December 19, 2022) – Sunday morning, responders airlifted Jessica Reggiatore after a rollover crash on 1200 3rd Street.
 
The incident happened at about 10:10 a.m. in the 1200 block of 3rd Street near Sedro-Woolley High School.
 
According to reports, 55-year-old Paulino A Herrera of Sedro-Woolley traveled west on Jameson Street in a black 2005 Honda Pilot. Then, he lost consciousness from drugs or alcohol.
 
Eventually, his vehicle veered off the road, rolled through a fence, and landed on its roof.
 
Then, a helicopter transported 34-year-old passenger, Jessica Reggiatore of Sedro-Woolley to Providence Medical Center in Everett for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the uninjured driver to United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley so he could be medically cleared for booking into the Skagit County Community Justice Center.
 
Moreover, troopers confirmed that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Also, they noted that both occupants wore their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the cause of the crash. Also, they impounded the totaled vehicle to the Washington State Patrol District 7 Bullpen as evidence.
