Snook, TX (August 30, 2023) On Tuesday morning, 24-year-old Jessica Ramos of Bryan was killed in a tragic 2-vehicle collision on FM 60.

According to DPS, the fatal crash happened at 6:46 a.m. at the intersection with FM 50.

Reports say that a California man driving a southbound 2018 Freightliner failed to yield right of way and struck the eastbound Honda Ramos was driving.

Reports say that Ramos was killed at the scene, while the truck tractor driver suffered injuries and was taken to CHI St Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

Authorities say that the collision closed both highway during the clean up and investigation. DPS is investigating the tragic big rig crash.
