Early Morning Rollover Crash on Highway 263 in Yreka Leaves 1 Injured
YREKA, CA (May 9, 2019) – A woman was injured following a rollover crash early Thursday morning on Highway 263 in Yreka.
The crash happened around 3:46 a.m., just North of Old Shasta Road near the Fairchild Medical Center.
CHP officers responded to the scene and located a vehicle that had overturned about 100 feet down embankment. A female occupant was found ejected from the vehicle with a laceration to the back of the head and was vomiting.
Paramedics took the woman to a hospital for proper treatment. The victim has been identified as Jessica Johnson.
Another vehicle may have been involved but no further details were provided.
At this time, authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
