ANAHEIM, CA (October 10, 2024) – Tuesday night, Jessica Ferrino died in a fatal DUI crash near E Wagner Avenue and S Rio Vista Street.

According to the Anaheim Police Department, a silver Mercedes-Benz lost control while attempting to make a 90-degree turn, allegedly struck a female pedestrian, and then crashed in the Santa Ana River.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the vehicle, identified as 33-year-old Raymundo Rangel, to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that Rangel will be booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI, while his passenger was booked for public intoxication.

Meanwhile, authorities identified the female pedestrian as 49-year-old Ferrino, who was walking in the area when the incident occurred.
