Passenger Jesse Ramirez Killed in Interstate 10 Collision [Jefferson County, TX]

Jefferson County, TX (July 22, 2024) – A 59-year-old passenger, Jesse Ramirez, was killed in an Interstate 10 collision Saturday noon.

DPS officers said a Honda accord driven by Lilian Ho, 52, was speeding east on the freeway near mile marker 831 when she struck a stationary Chevrolet van.

As a result, the van was pushed into the road and collided with an 18-wheeler.

Lilian Ho was rushed to Riceland Medical Center with suspected incapacitating injuries .

Ho’s passenger, Jesse Ramirez, was taken to the same hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Moreover, the 18-wheeler’s and drivers of the Chevrolet’s driver sustained minor injuries.

This fatal collision is under investigation.
