Driver Injured in Highway 6 Fatal Crash
Falls County, TX (August 25, 2024) – 22-year-old Jesse Auzston Jr of New Caney was killed in a Highway 6 rollover crash Friday morning.
It was about 5:40 a.m. when the deadly solo-vehicle crash happened near Falls County Road 121.
Investigators determined a Subaru Ascent was northbound on the freeway through a construction zone when it left the roadway and rolled over. Officers said the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed to negotiate the roadway.
A passenger in the Subaru, Jesse Auzston Jr, was killed at the scene. The driver, on the other hand, was taken to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco with non-life-threatening injuries.
The authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
