Honda Civic Driver Arrested in Lancaster DUI Collision
Lancaster, CA (July 21, 2023) – At about 8:40 p.m. June 19, 60-year-old Jerry Nation of Lancaster died in a DUI collision on 14 Freeway.
Investigating officers said that a 2022 Honda Civic was northbound in the center median of the freeway near Escondido Canyon Road.
The a 36-year-old Lancaster man driving the 2022 Honda skirted other vehicles by driving in the center median. The vehicle came upon a disabled 2006 Honda Accord occupied with three people stopped in the center median.
Nation, who was the rear passenger of the 2006 Honda died in the collision.
The authorities arrested the 2022 Honda driver on suspicion of DUI.
