Jerry Hocking of Mart Killed in Vehicle Crash on Business Highway 6 [Marlin, TX]

Marlin, TX (October 19, 2024) – 39-year-old Jerry Hocking of Mart and his passenger were killed in a vehicle crash on Business Highway 6 Thursday night.

It was about 7:58 p.m. when the fatal collision happened near Falls County Road CR-2885.

According to the investigators, Hocking was driving a southbound Chevrolet Spark when a northbound Cadillac CTS drove onto the wrong side of the highway and crashed into the Chevrolet.

Responding officers declared Jerry Hocking and his passenger dead at the scene while the Cadillac driver was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco with life-threatening injuries.

Troopers are investigating this fatal collision.
