FAIRFIELD, CA (November 13, 2019) – A man died following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Solano County.
The crash happened around 6:26 p.m. along the northbound lanes of 680 Freeway at Gold Hill Road.
A BMW SUV, driven by a Scranton, Pennsylvania woman, had stopped on the shoulder of the freeway off-ramp. The driver of the BMW tried to cross the off-ramp lane when it was broadsided by a Honda CR-V, driven by a Fairfield woman.
The impact caused the BMW to overturned. A Dodge Ram then struck the BMW and Honda, CHP officials said.

Paramedics took the Honda driver to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center with moderate injuries, and the BMW driver to the North Bay Medical Center in Fairfield with minor injuries. The Dodge driver was not injured.
