Phoenix, AZ (November 28, 2022) – Saturday night, 40-year-old Jeremy Ortiz died in a hit-and-run crash on 48th Street and McDowell Road.

The fatal hit-and-run crash in Phoenix happened around 6:30 p.m. on November 26.

Phoenix Police said a man in a wheelchair was struck by a driver. He died at the crash scene.

However, the driver immediately fled the scene. 

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the whereabouts of the driver/vehicle is ongoing.
