1 Dead and 2 Injured in Kittitas Car Accident
KITTITAS, WA (October 2, 2019) – A person died while two others sustained injuries in a car accident on Highway 97 on September 29.
The Washington State Patrol authorities came to a report of a two-vehicle crash. According to reports, a 24-year-old Ellenburg man traveled north on Highway 97. For reasons still unknown, the lost control and spun out into southbound lanes. The vehicle went directly into the line of 43-year-old Jeremy Long accompanied by 44-year-old April Long.
After the collision, the two vehicles stopped in the southbound lanes on the highway.
The incident left Jeremy Long and April Long with moderate to serious injuries. Responders transported them to a local area hospital.
However, the 24-year-old Ellenburg man suffered fatal injuries. Responders transported him to Central Washington Hospital where he later died.
The Washington Highway Patrol is still investigating the collision.
