Injuries Reported after Fresno Crash near Marks Avenue and California Avenue
FRESNO, CA (May 13, 2021) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Jeramy Crisp after a motorcycle crash near Marks Avenue.
According to the Fresno Police, 44-year-old Jeramy Crisp crashed his Chevy Tahoe into a motorcycle. The incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. near Marks Avenue and California Avenue in southwest Fresno.
As a result of the crash, a male motorcycle rider and his female passenger fell from the bike. The police confirmed that the female passenger was Crisp’s ex-girlfriend.
Afterward, Jeramy Crisp went out of his Tahoe then went into a physical altercation with the motorcyclist. Then, he eventually kidnapped his ex-girlfriend.
“During some point in this particular incident, the (ex-boyfriend) was able to drag the (female) victim from that location of the motorcycle collision. Then, he physically put her in the back of the Chevy Tahoe,” Lt. Paul Cervantes revealed.
As Jeramy Crisp abducts her ex, he drove “erratically” and caused another crash a few blocks later. The authorities confirmed that he crashed into an electrical pole near Hughes and Whitesbridge avenues.
The second crash led to a power outage to more than 6,000 PG&E customers for a couple of hours. Also, the incident closed a portion of the eastbound lanes of Highway 180.
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested Crisp after being positively identified by the motorcycle driver.
On the other hand, authorities confirmed that the motorcycle rider and the ex-girlfriend sustained significant injuries.
