Jennifer Reynolds Injured in Two-Car Crash on State Route 28 [Ephrata, WA]

Ephrata, WA (January 26, 2022) – On Monday, 42-year-old Jennifer Reynolds sustained injuries while officers charged 22-year-old Andrew Baty of Quincy in a DUI crash on State Route 28.

The collision happened after 10 p.m. near Martin Road.

Baty was driving a westbound 1997 Honda Civic hatchback when he attempted to pass a car driven by a 17-year old male from Ephrata in a no-passing zone.

Then Baty struck the car when he attempted to swerve back onto the westbound lane. 

Baty’s vehicle rolled and came to rest on its top. 

On the other hand, the 1999 Civic Coupe stopped after striking a rock wall. 

Immediately, the rescuers took Baty to Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata.

Then, they rushed Reynolds, Baty’s passenger to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. 

Similarly, the emergency rescuers rushed the 17-year old male driver to Columbia Basin Hospital.
