Jennifer Lopez Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Arrow Route [RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA]

Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Arrow Route and Sierra Madre Avenue

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (August 29, 2019) – A woman died in a pedestrian crash Thursday evening in Rancho Cucamonga.
 
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Arrow Route and Sierra Madre Avenue.
 
According to authorities, the woman was walking across the street, outside of a marked crosswalk, when she was hit by a Chevrolet Spark that was heading east on Arrow Route.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Police identified her as Jennifer Lopez, 46, a Rancho Cucamonga resident.
 
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 27-year-old Rancho Cucamonga woman, stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
It is unknown if charges has been filed and liability has not yet been determined. The incident remains under investigation.
