Pedestrian Dead in Moreno Valley Accident on Fir Avenue
MORENO VALLEY, CA (June 22, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, 28-year-old Jelani Williams died in a hit-and-run crash on Fir Avenue.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said that the crash occurred at around 2:00 a.m. Moreover, the incident happened on Fir Avenue and Cognac Lane.
Upon the deputies’ arrival, they located Jelani Williams, of Moreno Valley, down in the road. Sgt. Nathan Kaas said that Williams sustained serious injuries.
Thus, responders took him to Riverside University Health System Medical Center. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries.
