Police Vehicle Involved in Casa Grande Accident on North Crane Street and 10th Street
CASA GRANDE, AZ (March 21, 2022) – Thursday, authorities arrested Jeffrey Rivera following a crash on North Crane Street and 10th Street.
The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on North Crane Street and 10th Street. According to reports, a sergeant tried to stop a white Lexus sedan near North Crane Street and West 10th Street.
However, Jeffrey Rivera took off as the sergeant walked to his vehicle. Then, the sergeant followed Rivera until they arrived at a nearby business and Rivera crashed intentionally. After minutes, they arrived at North Trekell Road and Florence Boulevard. The vehicle crashed into a Casa Grande Police Department vehicle.
Then, authorities arrested the driver facing multiple charges after allegedly ramming a Pinal County Sheriff’s vehicle twice and hitting a Casa Grande Police vehicle.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
