49-Year-Old Man Dead in San Jose Motorcycle Accident on State Route 130 and Kincaid Road

 
SAN JOSE, CA (January 27, 2021) – Saturday night, Jeffrey Michael Latta died in a motorcycle crash on State Route 130 and Kincaid Road.
 
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 49-year-old Jeffrey Michael Latta of Navato.
 
According to CHP Officer Ross Lee, the crash occurred around 2:50 p.m. Moreover, it happened on State Route 130 east of Kincaid Road.
 
Lee added that the investigation determined that Lata rode a 1999 Suzuki westbound. Then, he drove across the double-yellow line in a curve and crashed with a Chevrolet Volt traveling the other direction.
 
As a result, Jeffrey Michael Latta died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the Chevrolet driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
 
Also, the crash led to the partial closure of State Route 130 from 3:30 to 7 p.m.
 
Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information about the collision to call the San Jose area CHP office at 408-467-5400.
