Fatal Crash on Interstate 5 Kills Deputy Jeffrey McKee

 
Santa Ana, CA (March 31, 2021) – On Sunday, 35-year-old Jeffrey McKee of Norco in Riverside County died in a tragic multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.
 
The fatal accident took place at around 5:25 a.m. at the transition road to the northbound 710 Freeway.
 
McKee was driving home from work at Inmate Reception Center when he got involved in the multi-vehicle crash.
 
Furthermore, Veteran Deputy Norman Anpree was also on his way home when he got involved in the same accident.
 
Anpree suffered severe injuries and was subsequently rushed to the hospital.
 
Apparently, a detached tire from a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction caused the accident.
 
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and coworkers of veteran Deputy Jeffrey McKee, who lost his life due to injuries received during a traffic collision Sunday morning,” says the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs.
 
Meanwhile, a GoFundMe account established by the ALADS C.A.R.E.S. Foundation will support the families of the two deputies.
