Jeffrey Iler Injured in Startling Multi-Vehicle Crash on Missouri River Bridge [Jefferson City, MO]

1 Person Hospitalized in Jefferson City Auto Accident on Missouri River Bridge

JEFFERSON CITY, MO (September 11, 2024) – Jeffrey Iler sustained injuries in a startling multi-vehicle crash on Missouri River Bridge.

The incident happened in the westbound lane of Missouri River Bridge.

According to the Jefferson City Police Department, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado rear-ended a 2005 Ford Explorer for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Ford to rear-end a 1991 Chevrolet S10, which in turn rear-ended a 2022 Toyota Rav4.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the Chevrolet S10, identified as 46-year-old Iler, to an area hospital with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, officers identified the driver of the Chevrolet Silverado as 42-year-old David Hernandez, the driver of the Ford Explorer as 44-year-old Jeremiah Welling, and the driver of the Toyota Rav4 as 52-year-old Rebecca Craighead.

Meanwhile, the crash restricted the westbound traffic to one lane for 30 minutes, but all lanes have reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
