2 People Hospitalized in Los Angeles Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 4, 2023) – Thursday night, Jeffery Briggs and Lauren Nystrom sustained injuries in a startling motorcycle accident on Highway 101.
The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 near the San Ramon exit.
According to CHP Officer Patrick Seebart, a 1998 Harley Davidson suffered a mechanical failure and crashed. Then, the force of the crash ejected the two occupants of the motorcycle into the pavement.
Moreover, responders transported the 37-year-old male motorcycle driver to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Then, paramedics rushed the motorcycle passenger, 25-year-old Templeton resident Lauren Nystrom, to a hospital with major head injuries.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
