1 Person Hurt in Parkland Auto Accident on Steele Street South and 102 Street South
PARKLAND, WA (October 29, 2024) – On Tuesday, Jeff Johnson sustained injuries in an alarming hit-and-run crash on Steele Street South.
The incident happened at around 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of Steele Street South and 102 Street South.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, a dark-colored sedan struck a pickup truck for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the pickup to roll over onto its roof.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that the driver of the pickup, identified as Johnson, sustained unknown injuries in the incident.
Furthermore, officers said that the suspect driver stopped for a moment after the crash, and then fled the scene moments later.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
