Jeep Wrangler Driver Seriously Injured in Interstate 5 Collision [Tehama County, CA]

Tehama County, CA (October 10, 2023) – A woman driving a Jeep Wrangler was airlifted rolling an Interstate 5 collision Monday.

CHP officers the Jeep Wrangler and a Kia Sedan were northbound on the freeway, south of Cottonwood.

Suddenly, the Kia crashed into the Jeep and both vehicles rested on the southbound center median of the highway.

The southbound lane of the freeway was closed so life flight could land.

The medical team airlifted the female driver to Mercy Medical with major injuries.

The paramedics also took the KIA’s male and female occupants via ambulance to a hospital. They sustained minor injuries.

Officers are still investigating.
