Jayson Jimmy and Female Passenger Dies in Tragic Crash on Highway 500 [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (November 7, 2023) On Sunday morning, 23-year-old Jayson Jimmy and a 21-year-old woman both of Portland died after a tragic crash on Highway 500.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal crash happened at about 30 minutes past midnight on Northeast Thurston Way.

Reports say that an SUV, driven by 20-year-old Mickleen Daniel of Portland, at high speed, went thorough an overpass guardrail and crashed onto Northeast Thurston Way.

Officials say that Daniel suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. His passenger, Jayson Jimmy, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 21-year-old female passenger died at the hospital.

Authorities say that speed was the cause of the crash, and drugs and/or alcohol were involved. Moreover, Daniel is facing DUI and vehicular homicide charges.
