1 Person Dead in Wood County Traffic Accident on FM Road 14
WOOD COUNTY, TX (June 6, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, Jaykob Dodd died in a tragic multi-vehicle crash on FM Road 14.
The incident happened at around 12:55 p.m. on a private road near Farm to Market Road 14.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2001 Ford Ranger veered across the center line and collided head-on with a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the opposite direction.
Moreover, responders pronounced the 16-year-old Ford driver dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported 65-year-old Sabino Santoy and 63-year-old Maria Santoy to UT Health Hospital with unknown injuries.
