15-Year-Old Jaycee Willet Dead in Chowchilla Car Accident on 5th Street

 
CHOWCHILLA, CA (November 12, 2019) – A 15-year-old girl died in a DUI car accident on 5th Street on November 10.
 
The fatal incident occurred on 5th street and Ventura Avenue in Chowchilla. 15-year-old Jaycee Willet lost her life in a DUI crash. Investigators revealed that 24-year-old Marcos Torres of Chowchilla drove while under the influence of alcohol.
 
“She had her whole life ahead of her, and it got taken away because an adult couldn’t be smart,” said Juan Lopez, a friend of Jaycee.
 
Authorities arrested and booked Marcos Torres into the Madera County jail for DUI.
 
During the collision, Jaycee Willet sat in the back passenger seat of a car. Four other people occupied the car.
 
The crash left the other victims with moderate to severe injuries.
