Bicyclist Killed in Palm Desert Collision
Palm Desert, CA (March 13, 2024) – 62-year-old Jay Groth of Indio was killed following a bicycle accident on Country Club Drive Tuesday night.
The fatal traffic accident happened at around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Cook Street.
Responding officers located Groth, the bicyclist, on the ground and transported him to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.
Moreover, the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities’ investigation.
