Injuries Reported in Calistoga Auto Accident on Silverado Trail near Cover Flat Road
CALISTOGA, CA (March 24, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Javier Torres and Erik Kiser required hospitalization after a crash on Silverado Trail.
The head-on collision happened at 6:55 a.m. on the Silverado Trail near Clover Flat Road. According to reports, 22-year-old driver Javier Torres of Sonoma sustained major injuries. Then, an American Medical Response ambulance took them to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Meanwhile, another AMR ambulance took 59-year-old driver Erik Kiser of Napa to the Queen with moderate injuries.
Reports confirmed that Torres headed south on Silverado Trail in a 2006 Toyota Corolla. Then, his vehicle drove across the center line and went into the path of Kiser.
Kiser headed north in a 2018 Jeep Cherokee SUV.
As a result, Kiser’s Jeep overturned on Silverado Trail’s east shoulder.
Meanwhile, firefighters responded and freed Torres from his vehicle. Then, they transported Javier Torres to a hospital.
