Jassmin Hurtado Dies in Tragic Vehicle Crash on Limonite Avenue [Eastvale, CA]

Eastvale, CA (October 4, 2024) On Wednesday evening, 26-year-old Jassmin Hurtado was killed in a tragic vehicle crash on Limonite Avenue.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD), the fatal crash happened at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Harrison Avenue.

Reports say that a multi-vehicle collision in Eastvale claimed the life of a 26-year-old woman.

Upon arrival, deputies provided medical assistance to a severely injured passenger while awaiting paramedics.

Unfortunately, the passenger, later identified as Hurtado from Ontario, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team has taken over the investigation. Authorities stated that drugs and alcohol are not suspected as contributing factors, though the exact cause of the collision remains undetermined.

In their efforts to collect evidence and assess the scene, officials temporarily closed Limonite Avenue between Sumner Avenue and Cedar Creek Road, as well as Harrison Avenue between Golden Bit and Great Falls.
