Michael Page Faces Vehicular Assault Charges after Crash on Graf Road
CENTRALIA, WA (May 10, 2018) – A driver from Chehalis is facing vehicular assault charges following a two-vehicle collision that injured at least three people.
According to the Washington State Police, the crash occurred at about 2:28 PM Thursday at the intersection of South Scheuber Road and Graf Road. A silver 2002 Volvo S60, driven by 41-year-old Michael Page of Chehalis, was traveling north on South Scheuber at a high rate of speed and failed to observe a stop sign at Graf.
The vehicle had become airborne while going through the intersection and landed on a black 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by 26-year-old Carin Landrum, also a resident of Chehalis.
Landrum and her passenger, 35-year-old Jennifer L German of Stanwood, sustained injuries and were transported to the Providence Centralia Hospital for treatment. A 1-year-old child was inside the Equinox during the collision but no injuries were reported on the baby. Page and his passenger, 37-year-old Jason Stoker, of Longview, also received injuries from the collision. Stoker was also taken to Providence, while Page was transported to the Tacoma General Hospital.
Investigators determined that the collision was a result of Page’s speeding. He will be facing a charge of vehicular assault, authorities added. No additional information was disclosed.
