Jason Stark Dies in Crash on Houghton Road in Tucson 

Tucson, AZ (December 28, 2021) – Tuesday morning, 44-year-old Jason Stark died in a crash on Houghton Road.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Tucson happened at around 6 a.m. on December 28.

Tucson Police responded to S. Houghton Road and E. Camino De La Placita for a 911 call about a pedestrian who was struck in the roadway.

Investigators said that before the crash, Stark was lying in the roadway, which someone pulled over to report to 911. 

Then a white 2014 Lexus GS traveling northbound on Houghton hit Stark.

Stark died at the crash scene.

Police said the driver of the Lexus was not impaired at the time of the crash.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
